Impact Factor 2016 and EiC Report

The Journal Citation Report 2016 has been recently released and we are pleased to announce the new Impact Factor of the Journal of Population Economics: 1.136.

The Journal’s Impact Factor, which increased continuously since 2008 and peaked at 1.47 in 2013, remained stable at 1.14 in 2016. The Journal’s 5-year Impact Factor increased to 1.846 in 2016. The Journal now ranks 137/347 in economics and 16/26 in demography and is currently among the journals listed on SSCI (IF 2016).

Furthermore, the Google Scholar h5 Index is 31. As of July 2017, the Journal’s IDEAS/RePEc ranking is 71/1,911 (based on the Simple Impact Factor 12.94, for Journals). More Ranking details are available here.

The Editor-in-Chief Report of the Journal of Population Economics can be downloaded here. The Report provides information on the Journal’s performance ranging from submission numbers and acceptance rates to international access and more.
