The first issue of the Journal of Population Economics of 2020 is now available online. Issue 33(1) contains 10 contributions addressing themes such as migration, inequality, and preferences. The lead article, “Hate at first sight? Dynamic aspects of the electoral impact of migration: the case of Ukip”, explores how the presence of immigrant communities corresponds to voting for parties with explicit anti-migrant platforms.
