The Journal of Population Economics is growing, both in submissions and in the team supporting their processing. Last year the Journal received over 800 new manuscripts, and the number is expected to further increase this year.
Given the rapid growth, we are very happy to welcome Prof. Alfonso Flores-Lagunes (Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs, Syracuse University, USA) as an editor. Prof. Flores-Lagunes is a labour economist with an interest in methods of estimating causal impacts of public programmes, economics of education and educational policies, and spatial econometrics. He is a Senior Research Associate in the Center for Policy Research, a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), and a fellow of the Global Labour Organisation (GLO).
